BREATHE FRESH AIR AGAIN.
Over time fungi and bacteria can form in your vehicles air conditioner, spreading germs and odours throughout your car. But if you give your air conditioner a disinfecting and deodorising treatment at your next scheduled service you can breathe fresh air again. Having your vehicle’s air conditioner treated regularly is both curative and preventative; helping to eliminate foul odours and providing long lasting anti-bacterial and antifungal protection.
HOW IT WORKS.
An air conditioner treatment works in three ways; disinfecting, protecting and deodorising your air conditioner all in one. Disinfects - The specialised formula of Toyota’s air conditioner cleaner contains anti-bacterial mechanisms that act upon fungal enzymes and minerals to break them down and eliminate foul odours originating from within your air conditioner.
Protects - Unlike conventional mist type products, Toyota’s air conditioner treatment leaves a protective coating of foam that helps to prevent the re-growth of bacteria and fungi. Deodorises - One treatment can assist in the air from your air conditioner being fresh and odour free. The deodoriser contained in the protective coating will also work to help prevent odours from reoccurring for up to 18 months*.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY AIR CONDITIONER BE TREATED?
An air conditioner treatment once every 18 months is all that’s needed to help keep it bacteria and odour free*.
WORKING IN COMBINATION WITH YOUR CABIN AIR FILTER.
Your air conditioning unit needs a clean Cabin Air Filter to keep the air in your car fresh and odour free. If one is not performing its task correctly, the other suffers. Therefore it is important that your Cabin Air Filter^ is cleaned or replaced and an air conditioner treatment applied regularly.
^ Check with your Toyota Service Advisor to see if your vehicle is equipped with a Cabin Air Filter.
* Under normal operating conditions, generally a treatment every 18 months is sufficient to help keep air conditioners bacteria and odour free.
